Topic: Guilty of blood?
Bible Reading: Zechariah 4-6; Revelation 18
Memory Verse: “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” Revelation 18:24 (KJV).
In Revelation chapter 18; we read of the fall of Babylon which symbolically signified the habitation of devils and host of all sorts of foul spirit (Revelation 18:2 KJV) and has been responsible for the death of so many people as stated in Revelation 18:24 (KJV), “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” God stated its judgement shall come in one day such that death and mourning, famine and fire shall consume Babylon. “For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:5 (KJV).
That is for a city but the judgment is also at hand for everyone who is guilty of blood. Remember that the life of every living flesh is in its blood (Leviticus 17:11 KJV) and anyone who has been guilty of anything that could have led to the death of another human being is guilty of blood. And there are quite a large number of people who are guilty of this. Imagine if you have been involved in producing or selling any fake product that has taken life of others, you are guilty of blood. Similarly, if you have condoned production of a facility or poor training of an individual or certification of an unqualified person or project that ended up causing death directly or indirectly, of people, you are guilty of blood.
If you have also lied against someone that led to the death of that person, then you are guilty of blood. Not to talk of direct or indirect murder of another person or group of persons! Of course, if you are involved in abortion in any form or any act that leads to the murder or death of another person, then your hand is guilty of blood. These are a few examples and it is important that you examine your current functions and determine if it may lead to loss of life either directly or indirectly, then you belong to the group guilty of blood.
And the blood cries to God in heaven just like the blood of Abel cried to God in heaven in Genesis 4:10 KJV. Where you have been involved in any way, you need to cry to God this moment for mercy and forgiveness and promise not to go back to sin anymore by accepting Jesus Christ into your life.
Prayer point: Father, please cleanse me of any blood stains on my hands and give me the grace to live a life pleasing to You at all times in Jesus name.
