“For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God” – 1 Corinthians 15:9 KJV.
It does not matter how much sin you have committed, it does not matter how long you have also committed the sin. What matters is your readiness to let go of the past, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and restitute your ways.
Recently an ex-armed robber came to one of our church programmes and narrated how God arrested him and he gave his life to Christ.
Apostle Paul was a chief persecutor before he was arrested on his way to Damascus. He was there when Stephen was being stoned for his faith in Christ. Apostle Paul, who was Saul then, had been involved in all sorts of killings and persecutions. But when Jesus arrested him, he became an INCURRABLE winner of soul. He used the same determination he had used to persecute the church, to now preach the gospel. No wonder, he said in 1 Corinthians 15:9 KJV. “For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God”.
However God that saved Paul as well as the robber beside Jesus on the cross is able and willing to save you. All you need is to come to him and surrender yourself.
Prayer: Father, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I know I am a sinner and I submit myself to you. Please forgive me, cleanse me and write my name in the book of life in Jesus name.
