Bible Reading: Psalm 75: 1-end
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled” 2 Corinthian 10:6 (KJV)
The preaching of the glorious gospel of Christ has brought light into people’s life all over the universe thereby setting them free from every form of satanic captivity and bondage. The power of the gospel of Christ has put asunder the gates of brass and bars of iron thereby opening the prison door for them that are bound. The glorious gospel of Christ is entering into the second phase, which is restoration and vengeance. Under the covenant terms, this stage of restoration and vengeance is tagged “the day of the vengeance of our God”. It is a period immediately preceding the rapture of the church and will climax at the sounding of the seven trumpets and the binding of Satan and his lieutenants and cast into hell. This phase of God’s covenant with man will witness the emergence of the glorious church of Christ which shall be decorated with power. The church will be God’s battle axe for vengeance against the habitations of cruelty under the dark places of the earth. Let us enumerate what is contained in this phase of divine covenant as follows:
- The day of vengeance of our God
- To comfort all that mourn, by placing in Zion; Beauty for ashes, Oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness
- The redeemed shall rebuild the wastes,
- They shall raise up the former desolation
- They shall repair the waste cities and desolation of many generation.
Until vengeance came the children of Israel were in captivity for 430 years in Egypt. When the God of vengeance visited, their freedom was quick and swift. In the same manner will the emergence of the glorious church come as the Almighty God begin to execute the day of his vengeance on earth. Men and women will begin to be fully liberated exhibiting supernatural manifestation. This is the era that the creatures have been waiting for as stated in Romans 8:19(KJV): “For the earnest expectation of the creatures waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” This is the period (and now is) when the redeemed will be exhibiting the full attribute of their father – God. It is by these attributes that they will rebuild the waste places, raise up the former desolation, and repair the waste cities and desolation of many generation. They shall begin to emerge as wonders on earth as torchbearers, pace setters, trailblazers, business magnates, inventors and scientists with unmatchable abilities etc. By the power of their God under the covenant terms they will begin to execute judgment upon the wickedness in the land as espoused in Joel 2:11(KJV) “And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his words: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible, and who can abide it?” To further buttress this in Isaiah 63:4(KJV), “For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.” Friend we have entered into the era of God’s day of vengeance that will witness the year of the redeemed’s total emancipation and triumph. Friend, God is calling you to come to Him and find safety and freedom as you stay under the everlasting covenant. All the evil of the wicked against your life must be avenged by our God. But for this to be, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. I therefore enjoin you to hurry to God and be in his camp now for your safety.
