Bible Reading: Isaiah 36:1-22
“But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.” – Isaiah 36:21 KJV
Life is full of crossroads, requiring us to make choices and decisions. What to do? Where to go? When to go? How to go? Whom to call? Where to live? Who to marry? What to eat? What to avoid? Etc. etc.
On occasions, as we do these, we look up to someone for guide, whether rightly or wrongly. Once we get convinced about the authenticity of that person, whatever they come up with passes. This is why Godly counsel is important. (Psalm 1:1-3)
Find out the mind of God concerning the decision confronting you today, and when the choice is in line with His word and comes with peace, why look elsewhere? Any suggestion that is contrary to the word of God does not deserve a thought, let alone an answer. Stay with the report of the Lord. (Romans 10:16).
Prayer: As I trust you and believe Your report, so shall it be done to me in Jesus name. Amen.
