Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:1-31
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever” – Isaiah 40:8 (KJV)
There is no need we may have, or a situation or circumstance that we find ourselves that God has not anticipated and provided a word for. Think about it — is it salvation, deliverance, healing, promotion, holiness, protection, battle, wisdom, strength, prosperity, forgiveness, sleep, repentance, marriage, children to have or to nurture, discipline, provision, etc? There is no end to it.
May be you are single and desire to marry, you have God’s word to meditate upon and pray with in Psalm 68:6a God sets the solitary in families… And how about the promise in Proverbs 18:22 whoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains the favour of the Lord. A man can pray for the help of the Holy Spirit to guide him to find, while a lady can use the same word to pray that her appointed man will find and take her as wife. Amen.
When you proclaim God’s word over a situation and stand in faith, the Holy Spirit will blow upon it, just like He did in Genesis 1:2. So, what are you waiting for? Find the relevant word in your Bible and begin to pray with it. You will get good result.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your word and the access I have to it. I ask that you release the power of your word over my life today, in Jesus name. Amen.
