“For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” – Jer.29:11(KJV) NIV translated it thus:”For I know the plans I have for you..to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
It follows therefore from the above quote, that you must have:
- An expectation. It is your expectation that God plans to establish. Don’t limit yourself to what your power can achieve. Go beyond your ability. Trust God to do what you can’t do for yourself.
- You must have hope even in hopeless situation. Against hope Abraham believed in hope; Rom.4:8
Think, expect and hope for a peaceful, harmless, good and colourful future and God will work it out for you. His plans and thoughts are for your good.
Prayer: Father, I put my trust in your ability to give me a glorious promise in line with your promise. In Jesus Name
