Bible Reading: Psalm 148:1- 14
“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” – Luke 11:9 (KJV)
God’s understanding as we saw yesterday is beyond measure and He is such a loving father that he has given us blank cheque to fill whatever amount we want. He says in Luke 11:9 (KJV), “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
So in addition to the three situations we stated yesterday that one can seek his face, the other two are:-
- When you are in danger and appear not to have a way out. The Israelites were in danger when they got to the Red Sea as the enemies were right behind them and the Red sea was in front of them! Where could they turn but then, they called on God and He sent a strong east wind to blow away the water. (Exodus 14:10-22). Every obstacle ahead of you on your way to your promotion or destiny shall be blown away by the East wind of God in Jesus name.
- When your knowledge has failed you. Sometimes our knowledge is the source of our challenge. And rather than be a blessing, it could be a curse. Your knowledge will not be the source of a curse on you in Jesus name. In Dan 2:1-45, Nebuchadnezar had a dream and he forgot the dream but called the magicians to tell him the dream and the interpretation. Well they could not as they had no access to God’s reservoir. It took Daniel, who had access to God’s knowledge to get revelation of the dream and interpretation.
If there is any area of knowledge where you desire more, just seek the face of the Almighty and his righteousness and you will get the revelation. In any area, therefore, where you require any form of understanding, seek his face and his righteousness and you will get the revelation.
How can you get his revelation? By thanking him, praising him, winning souls for him and living a life of righteousness.
Prayer: Father, increase me in wisdom and understanding in Jesus name.
