Bible Reading: Proverbs 6
“You are snared, trapped by the words of your mouth, you are taken (caught) with the words of your mouth” – Proverbs 6:2
In hunting for deer or what some call bush meat; hunters set metal traps (snares) with jagged teeth. When an animal, steps on the trap, it immediately locks it’s leg and is unable to escape. Wounded, immobilized and waiting for the hunter to claim his game. In the same vain, we are trapped by the words we speak or confess. Positive or negative. If you speak failure, you trap your life in failure. If you speak success and prosperity, you trap your life in success and prosperity. Thus, the bible says: “You are snared, trapped by the words of your mouth, you are taken (caught) with the words of your mouth” – Prov 6:2.
The Words you speak will catch up with you. So speak the Word of God over your life. Meditate on the Word. In reality the Word of God is more than positive confession. It has the ability & capability to produce what it promises in your life. It will change your thinking and once there’s a change on your inside, in due time what you see on the outside will change.
