Bible reading: Proverbs 15
“Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established” – Proverbs 15:22 (KJV)
Everyone under the Sun has a divine purpose from God. You are qualified to walk in it from the day you get born again, but it’s your responsibility to discover God’s purpose for your life through the help of the Holy Spirit. A lot of Christians however are in disarray. They have a knowledge of their divine purpose in God, but don’t know how to walk in it. Our text shows us how to get the purpose of the Father for our lives established… ”Without Counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established” – Prov. 15:22 (KJV).
If God has called you to run your own business or be in paid employment or if you have a call into the five-fold Ministry, get the needed counsel. First from the Spirit of God and His Word, from trusted mentors and leaders in the body of Christ. Read books and materials that have to do with your area of calling. Study to show yourself approved and in no time as you act on what you’ve learnt by the leading of the Spirit of God, you will experience fruitfulness in all the Father has called you to be and to do.
Action Steps:
Ask the father in the place of prayer to lead you to the right people, places and books to get the needed counsel you need. Be diligent. Leave no stone unturned. Study and act upon the counsel you’ve received.
Don’t give up. Be persistent. Take time everyday to invest in God’s plan for your life.
Help others find their way too.
