Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 11: 1-10
“If the cloud be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be” – Ecclesiastes 11:3 (KJV)
Sometimes people live their lives by chance or by miracle and not by principles. Miracles do happen but there are principles set by God to rule our lives and create our harvest. There is the principle of seedtime and harvest time or sowing and reaping. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” – Galatians 6:7(KJV).
Another principle we must respect is that sowing time is not always the harvest time. This talks of the various seasons of life that we need to respect. However, the environment in which seeds are sown equally affect the harvest. Some people expect rain without cloud. For those who understand spiritual principles, the place of enabling environment and right atmosphere cannot be overlooked.
As prayer ascends and our service to God and humanity are rendered in love, our cloud gathers to enable rain of miracle. One may be praying and serving but the harvest and blessing may not be appearing immediately, but know for sure that the cloud is gathering. God is not unaware of our labour of love. In due time we will reap. We are thus admonished to pray without ceasing and never to be weary in well doing. As long as the right seeds are sown and watered, through prayers, we will not miss our harvest… “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister:” – Hebrews 6:10 (KJV)
Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to create the right environment that will enhance great harvest in life
