Bible Reading: Isaiah 41:1-end
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, fear not; I will help thee” – Isaiah 41:13 (KJV)
What God says to one He says to all. The word of God has universal application. God is no respecter of persons, and the word of God is not discriminatory. It applies to anyone that will act on it by faith. “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him” – Acts 10:34-35(KJV). The word of God when believed and acted upon produces the same result universally. God, through His word, has given us all that we need to live a godly and successful life because it is all providing. Our inability to effectively appropriate the latent power in God’s word is as a result of sin and the limitation of the flesh. The bible says in 2 Peter 1:4 (KJV), “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.” One of such exceeding great and precious promises is the one stated above. Believing these exceeding great and precious promises positions one to become a partaker of divine nature, which is God’s nature. Picture in your mind the Almighty God holding your hand and saying fear not I am with thee, can you imagine the level of confidence this will generate in you? Further picture in your mind that the Almighty being referred to is greater in power and authority than all presidents of the nations of the world combined and He is holding your hand and saying fear not I will help thee. The level of confidence you will be exhuming will intimidate world rulers. Truly speaking, that is the true position, but the limitation placed on us by the flesh creates unbelief and doubts. These exceeding great and precious promises when received, believed in and acted upon automatically translates us to a higher realm of supernatural operation. This is where the divine nature comes in. When we begin to effectively personalize the word or appropriate the word, the mighty power and force behind the word begins to operate on our behalf. The word of God is ordained not to fail, so holding on to it tenaciously in faith ensures that the force behind the word works in our favour. The force behind God’s word is God himself.
Dear reader, MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS for your victory over life issues for, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” – 1 John 5:4 (KJV). To be born of God the scriptures says in John 1:12(KJV), “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” SHALOM !!!.
Prayer: Father, I thank you immensely for empowering me for victorious living.
