Bible Reading: Genesis 1, Jn. 1
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. – Gen. 1:3 (KJV)
We serve a God who ‘was’ from the beginning of time; a God that has no beginning and no end. A God that lives outside the confines of time. Thus, From our text, God Created the heaven and the earth from the beginning of time. And the earth He created was without form and void; it was in chaos, disorderliness all around the face of the deep. Nothing was working; yet God was not perturbed…. and God said ‘LET THERE BE LIGHT!’ Although the spirit of the Lord was moving on the face of the deep yet the earth was without form and void and in darkness until God spoke forth.
Dear readers, we serve a speaking God; everything God called forth came into being as soon as He spoke forth. God used the power of His mouth (His word) to create the world we see now. Every time the word of God goes forth, that word has creative capacity to create anything. So when God says it, then it is as good as created. This implies that you may be full of the holy spirit and yet suffer in the hands of the enemy if you keep your mouth shut.
If God has made you in His image and likeness (Gen 1;26.27) , then you are elevated to the God class, the speaking class. This year 2019 and beyond, no matter the situation and circumstances, vow to be positive in your confessions, so you can be sure you will create the kind of world you desire.
Words are exposed thought. You can’t call a goat and get a cat. Therefore, Let the Word of God so richly dwell in the inside of you (Col 3:16). The bible Said of Jesus Christ who was always proclaiming His Position in God, He said’ I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD,’ I AM THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE’ I AM THE GOOD SHEPHARD.’ Hence, everything He called out of Himself He manifested surely. It’s up to you to make your Life what you really desire it to be. However, I can assure you that you too CAN CREATE YOUR WORLD.
Praise the lord! What a great joy it is to come to the first day of the year 2019! I pray that as we take responsibility to dive into the word again and again, God will grant us the divine wisdom via His word to create our world.
