“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” – Mark 4:39 KJV
The Lord Jesus was in the hinder part of the ship asleep on a pillow when the storm arose. This shows that the fact that you have Jesus as your Lord and Saviour does not immune you from challenges. It will surely come but one assurance we have as children of God is that He that is in us is greater than he that is in the World. So we have the capacity to overcome the challenge. However a young man that has inheritance of millions of Naira left for him in the bank but does not draw on it might go hungry. In fact, he may die of hunger. This is the case of many children of God. We have the reservoir of power but we need to draw on it to meet our needs. The currency for drawing on it is FAITH. This is why The Lord Jesus says in Matthew 17:20 KJV “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”.
So please draw on the Authority of God given to you to address any storm that may come your way and decree like our Saviour did in Mark 4:39 KJV
“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm”.
