Bible Reading: Esther 6-8; Acts 6.
“So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the King’s wrath pacified” – Esther 7:10 (KJV).
The bible warns severally that we stay away from evil. Most people who get involved in evil against their fellow man nearly end up with these evils on their own head. Especially against the people of God, who are everly watched by their Maker.
The story of Esther, Mordecai and Haman is a good example of staying away from evil against your fellow man. By divine intervention, Esther had been made Queen. Mordecai, whom Haman hated because he would not bow to him, was Esther’s guardian before she became queen. All the plans of Haman against Mordecai fell on the latter’s own head, and humorously, all the promotion details for Mordecai was given by Haman.
Remember, God is still on the throne and He created us for a purpose. No man is allowed to end another man’s life for evil, especially one that serves God. God will always protect His people. If you are harbouring any form of hate against any person but the devil, please deal with it now before it takes you down like it did to Haman.
Prayer: Father, protect me against evil in Jesus name.
