Bible Reading: Job 11-13; Acts 9:1-21
“And straightaway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the son of God” – Acts 9:20 (KJV).
The story of the conversion of Paul is one that really gives us confidence in the forgiving power and mercies of God. He created every man for a purpose. Sadly, since the fall, man have been living a life outside the purpose of God. And when purpose is not known abuse is inevitable, so says Myles Munroe.
Despite the waywardness of many, the plan of God in their lives is still intact. God, at His own time showed up for Paul, who was the chief persecutor of the church. There are many people today that hate to see Christians. We are not to reciprocate this gesture, nor be afraid of them but to show them love. These people may end up like Paul did, going out straightaway to preach Jesus.
Let us continue to spread the word, for even the persecutors and haters of the church are potential evangelist, pastors, etc as seen in the case of Paul. God’s purpose for the lives of His people will surely come to pass.
Prayer: Father, let your grace locate your sons who are still out there in Jesus name.
