Bible Reading: Job 28-29; Acts 13: 1-26
“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle” – Job 29:4 (KJV).
Secrets are divine mysteries revealed to man from God for the purpose of blessing humans. God has always revealed His secrets to men. The bible says, “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law” – Deuteronomy 29:29 (KJV). These secrets made men stars.
The secret of God made Job the richest man in the East. This secret was revealed to Him as a youth in the tabernacle of God (Job 29:4). Joseph got a secret from God that saved the whole world from hunger (Genesis 41:6). He ended up a prime minister. Daniel got secrets from God (Daniel 2:29-30) that made him irreplaceable even in contrary administrations of government. He was made the head of all the wise men in his days.
The secrets of God only come to those who fear Him, says the bible, “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant” – Psalms 25:14 (KJV). Fearing God is obeying His commandment. Commit to a renewed obedience of instructions from God and His secrets will be revealed to you.
Prayer: Father, I ask for grace for the spirit of Obedience so as to obey your instructions like never before.
