Bible Reading: Job 32-33; Acts 14
“But there is a spirit in man: And the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” – Job 32:8 (KJV).
Inspiration is the move of the Holy Spirit within us that empowers us to gain access to the deep things of God. Whenever the Holy Ghost moves, man receives insight from God. The movement of the Holy Ghost culminates into light (Genesis 1:2-3). The Holy Ghost moved and men were illuminated to write the scriptures (2 Peter 1:21).
Inspiration enhances our capacity to draw insights from the things we see around us; the things we see, hear, read or study. Everything God created has something to teach us and add to us, but it is inspiration that gives us capacity to draw from it. Inspiration made King Solomon draw lessons from the ants against idleness (Proverbs 6:6-11).
To be moved by the Holy Spirit you must first accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and then allow the Spirit of God come into you and lead you. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).Your hearty communion and fellowship with God is vital to experiencing His leading as He works with our heart or spirit (Proverbs 20:27). And ask for His help to to always do that which pleases Him.
Prayer: Father, thank you for your Holy Spirit and His inspiration in my life
