“And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” – Exodus 31:3 KJV
God is omnipotent. He does as he pleases though He is a God of order. He is the creator of heavens and the earth and can do all things. I was at a service a few days ago and a man came to testify of the goodness of God. He got married for several years but did not have any child but after prayers God decided to visit him. Contrary to doctors assertion, his wife was pregnant and she delivered the baby but several days later, she found that something was still moving in her stomach and by the fifteenth day after the first delivery, she had another child!
No one could have done that as it defies science but God Almighty can do all things. No wonder he says we should ask and it shall be given unto us. But the amazing thing is that before you even ask He may answer you. In Exodus 31:3 KJV, God talks of Bezaleel, the son of Uri “ And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.”.
He filled this man before he asked but for a purpose. God knows that there would be need for wisdom and craftsmanship and He decided to fill Bezaleel so that when the need comes, he would be able to meet it even before the Israelites ask. What should we do to attract such a visitation or gift by God? The answer is in a life of holiness, a life pleasing to God. A life of worship. A life devoted to knowing more of God and drawing closer to him by regular fellowship.
Prayer: Father, give me the grace to walk closer with you so that my life will please you at all times and I will be able to impact my world more positively in Jesus name.
