Bible Reading: GENESIS 10,11; MATTHEW 5:1-24.
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” – Matthew 5:18 (KJV)
The bible in Genesis states that God created man in His image and likeness. Just by looking at the character God displayed in the past, it is clear man got these behaviour from Him. He never creates a thing without giving us a clue on how to go about using such thing. Just as man makes a product and includes a manual on how to use such product, God created man and made His Word available for man as a guide.
He even sent His Word in the person of Jesus to come to the earth to show us Who He is and how He operates, among other reasons. Whatever Jesus said came to pass while He was on earth. He even publicly stated that he never does anything without the Father’s consent. Even told us he and the Father and one. This was validated by the proofs that came out of it all.
Many of the challenges we face in life today is as a result of our not believing the Word. The Psalmist said in Psalms 119:89 (KJV), “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” If it is settled in heaven, it must surely take place here on earth by faith. All you need do is look out for those words from His Word that applies to any issue of concern in your life and key into the Word, believing. In time, you will see proofs.
The apostle Peter puts it this way, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place…” As you take heed to the word, it comes to pass in your life and that area you held unto in His Will.
