BIBLE READING: Leviticus 25; Mark 1:23-45
“And there came a leper to him, beseeching him and kneeling down to him and saying unto him, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will be thou clean” – Mark 1:40-41 (KJV)
The willingness and ability of God to save, heal, deliver and to help is not in doubt. God has revealed his will and his compassion towards mankind. He is such a loving, caring merciful and compassionate God. The leprous man in the above reference was not sure of the willingness of Jesus to heal him. It was not a question of the ability of Jesus but of his willingness.
These are two critical areas that need our strong conviction. God’s willingness and God’s ability. Jesus makes it very clear that God is both willing and able to heal us and to help us.
Our faith is the link to God’s wonder working power. As we exercise our faith by believing in him to help us, we connect to his power to heal, help and deliver.
Whatever your challenge is today, know for sure that God is willing and able to save, to heal, to deliver and to help.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I believe in your willingness and ability to help me in Jesus name.
