Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. – Mark 14:9 KJV
Doing the little things right is what often make the difference and not doing one big thing once and not able to repeat it. When you go to an office, a house, an hotel etc., what usually makes the difference often include, the way you are attended to, the way the place is arranged, the neatness of the environment, the dresses that are worn, the observed behavior of the host etc. These are little things but they create lasting impression on us. Why? Because we usually notice them easily and therefore remember whatever opinion we form of them.
Our Christian life is a way by which we can make a lot of difference in lives of others. People observe us without telling us, they tend to compare what we say with what we do without writing it down and they form an impression of us.
To make a difference therefore, we need to live our lives in accordance with the provisions of the bible. We need to keep biblical standard so that anytime people see us or hear about us and they remember our lifestyle, it will be compatible with the word of God. Then, we would have preached the gospel of Christ and created a memorial that could win others to Christ like the woman with the Alabaster oil. Jesus says of her in Mark 14:9 KJV
[9] Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
Prayer: Father, help me to live a life that will announce you everywhere I go in Jesus name.
