Bible Reading: I Kings 14, 15; Luke 22:24-48
“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” – Hebrews 4:13 (KJV)
Growing up, we have all engaged in hide and seek game at one time or the other. At times, we engaged with someone who was older than us who practically knew every nook and cranny of the place where such game was being played. At some other time, we disguised and changed our voice while putting on mask just to create the impression that we could not be known or identified. Surprisingly, once a test was put forward, the exact place, in most cases, was found out and the game would automatically be over.
In the same way, many people in the world today think they can play God in all aspects of life. This is seen in the way and manner they engage in shady activities. Some would go long distance to perpetrate evil and feel that no one sees them, whereas, they are ignorant of the fact that everything they are doing is actually in the full glare of the Owner of heaven and earth. David was wise in his submission, “O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me… I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your presence!” – Psalm 139:1, 7 (NLT)
What evil are you currently engaged in which you think God does not see? He is just giving you an opportunity to retrace your step. Do not wait for the time He is forced to expose you, but you should rather present your misdeeds to Him before it is too late!
Prayer: Dear Father, help me to live a transparent life before You all the days of my life.
