Bible Reading: 2 Kings 1,2,3; Luke 24:1-27
“He is not here but is risen!..” Luke 24:6 (KJV)
The words in our memory verse were spoken by angels to people who had gone with spices to attend to Jesus body after His death. To their surprise they were met by angels who asked, “why seek ye the living among the dead” Luke 24:5b. (KJV). His resurrection gave us hope of a life in and with God. But how did He get it done?
The Bible says in Romans 4:11 (KJV), ”And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” We have the same Spirit of holiness in us through Jesus Christ. As He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). So, nothing dies in anyone anymore because Jesus has done that for us. And if you have lost anything before stolen by the devil, begin to recover them in the name of Jesus.
Jesus’ resurrection has caused a change in position for the better in every area of your life. He has cleared the way of all obstacles to your progress in life. Never mind what you see and experience in your daily pursuits in life. Rather, mind God’s word! Glorify God in the midst of challenges by giving Him praise for what He has done through Jesus Christ. Be smarter than the devil who just wants you to say something different from what God has done. The devil needs your words of complaints and murmuring to seal his doings and evil plot around you.
Henceforth, people will no longer see you where they used to see you. They will look for you somewhere but will find you in a higher position or place looking downward at them. That is going to be your testimony. Just believe in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ who rose to a position of glory together with you in heavenly places where the factors in the world cannot affect you anymore.
Action Plan: Give God praise all through today for all He has done for you in Christ Jesus. Be specific in areas that has to do with your daily works.
