Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 7,8,9; John 11:29-57
“Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!” John 11:35-36 (KJV)
The emotions displayed by our Lord, Jesus Christ on the way to Lazarus’ grave side is a sign of His love for man. Even the Jews who were around confirmed it saying, “Behold how he loved him” John 11:36 (KJV). His love for man has not changed. In fact, the bible says in Hebrews 13:8 (KJV), “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
Jesus feels the pain and sorrow His beloved man feels. He looked all around Him and saw the tears and wailing all around the relatives of the deceased Lazarus and could not withhold the tears from coming out. Man has been in pains since the fall, that is why He came to undo the works of the devil in the lives of people. Death was not even supposed to be in the world, but man was tricked into waking the sleeping beast.
Thank God for Jesus! He became our resurrection and our life. He told Lazarus’ sister, Martha, “… I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me , though he were dead, yet shall he live“ John 11:25 (KJV). This means that nothing dies again in you or around you in as much as you believe in Jesus. Lazarus was called out from the dead by the resurrection Himself, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, the hope of glory is in you. So, whatever has been pronounced dead in your life before begins to come alive as you speak life into them. The same resurrection power in Jesus is now in you, because the Father sent Him to make you like Him. Death cannot cheat you anymore in your business, finance, family, career, etc. speak life or Jesus into that situation and you will see the wonders of God manifested through you.
