BIBLE READING : Proverb 30; 31; 2 Corinthians 11:1-16
“Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain” Proverbs 30:8-9 (KJV)
Whatever God gives, He gives in abundance. God is not a miser; He is very liberal with His resources. He is so extravagant with his love and mercy that He allows the rain and the sun on the just and the unjust. Concerning God’s liberality, the scriptures talks of good measure, shaking together and running over. When hHe gave manner to Israel, He gave more than enough. when We fed the multitude, He multiplied bread and fishes to be more than enough. Apostle Paul talked of God supplying all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus.
There is no economic recession in heaven, God’s resources are inexhaustible. When He gives life, He gives it in abundance, His joy is unspeakable, His peace transcends human understanding, His love is immeasurable and his power exceeding. Our God is a big God and He does big things. When we ask in prayer, hHe does for us exceedingly, abundantly, far above all we ask or think. The reason God gives in abundance is so we can be a blessing to others. He said to Abraham, I will bless you and make you a blessing, through you shall the nations of the earth be blessed.
It is mediocrity and lack of vision to demand less than abundance from such a good and great God.
PRAYER :Dear Lord, give me so much and enlarge my heart to be a blessing to my world.
