BIBLE READING: Ecclesiastes 10; 11; 12; Galatians 1
“But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed“ Galatians 1:23 (KJV).
This is how powerful salvation could be. It brings transformation to a person’s life thus enabling a person to make a complete u-turn. Salvation can make a chronic prostitute become a disciplined, responsible and committed Christian. It can turn a notorious armed robber or a deadly cultist to a passionate Evangelist. Zacheus the dubious tax collector became a decent Christian when he met Jesus and embraced salvation. The woman of Samaria turned from promiscuous life to become a vibrant Evangelist after her encounter with Jesus which led to her salvation.
Any one that embrace salvation becomes a new creature by the nature of Christ that brings transformation. When Rahab the prostitute had encounter with God’s people Israel, she became a saviour because of the power of salvation.
No one is irredeemable as far as the gospel of salvation is concerned. Every sinner can be saved and every sin can be forgiven and be cleansed. Salvation destroys the appetite for sin and creates a hunger for righteousness. It turns a sinner to a saint and ungodliness to godliness, this is the power of salvation.
Prayer: Dear Lord, reveal your salvation to all my friends, family and loved ones in Jesus name.
