Persons referred to in the above scriptures are those captioned in above topic as “wolves in the synagogue”. These same persons are in the midst of the gathering of God’s people today. They are Journalists, writers and enemies who plant themselves or are planted by evil organizations with the sole purpose of picking word from the statement of men of God to use against them. They exist in our midst. They are wolves in Sheep clothing. The bible warns that we should beware of them. In their haste to ridicule men of God they quote them out of context. They take joy and pride themselves of having the power to bring down men of God. Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory who championed the revival fire of Pentecostalism in Nigeria was continuously maligned by such disgruntled element that was used terribly by Church ministers who had lost the fire of the gospel and were bent to ridicule the man of God by all means. The bible admonishes us in Matthew 10:16(NKJV) saying “Behold I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves”. In another passage it said “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves”. Matt. 7:15(NKJV).
Prayer: Father grant us grace to discern the presence of ravenous wolves in our midst and wisdom to relate with them. In Jesus Name.
