Bible Reading: Zechariah 5, 6, 7, 8; Revelation 19.
Memory Verse: “Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:” Zechariah 7:13 KJV
A man of God reported an instance where he went to pray for someone and he found out that he was not getting better. After several prayer sessions, he decided to seek the face of God why his prayer was not being answered and God told him, it was too late for the man in question. God said he had sent several people to him at several occasions that he turned down and that He would not heal him but would die from the sickness. All pleading by the man of God did not yield any result. May your cry to God never go unanswered in Jesus name. Has God been calling you and speaking to you to heed his call and forsake your ways but you have not yielded? Isaiah 55:6 KJV says “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”
There are times that God will not hear the cry of the sinner particularly when He has called the sinner several times and he had turned him down. Zechariah 7:13 KJV says, “Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:”
Is there any particular sin that God has been calling on you to repent of, or is it your general lifestyle that is sinful and God is asking you to change? It is urgent that you heed the call now before it is too late. Grace of God will not always be available. That is why Apostle Paul said in Romans 6:1-2 KJV “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” May the Grace of God not turn against you in Jesus name.
If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and still engage in sinful activities, it is time that you repent and renew your relationship with God Almighty. Your sin is the reason why your heaven appears sealed that most of your prayers are not answered. Isaiah 59:1-2 KJV says “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: [2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
If you are however yet to accept Jesus into your life, you need a new beginning of life with him. All you need to do is confess your sins, promise not to go back to such again and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour while asking him to forgive you.
Prayer point: Father, have mercy on me and answer my prayers in Jesus name.
