Bible Reading: Genesis 20-22; Matthew 7
Memory verse: “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.” Genesis 21:1-2 KJV
Many today look forward to God’s visitation. When He visits it means He remembers you. His visitation is an answer to your request in that area of concern you might have seeked Him for. However, there are some things to know if you desire His visitation on your life.
Abraham and his wife, Sarah were divinely visited by some angels who told him that by this time next year they would be parents. Sarah laughed because of her age (Genesis 18). Abraham, on the other hand as we found out in the revelation received by Paul in Romans 4, believed God and gave glory to Him for the word that came his way. In fact he gave God glory till the promise came.
You must learn to keep God’s word in your heart. If a concern arises search out the scriptures for what God has said and when you find the answer give Him glory continually for the answer till you see manifestation. Isaiah 34:16 KJV says, “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.” God’s promises are for us. He has answered our prayers already. He still meets our desires by His word in His will for us.
God has already visited us through His Son, Jesus Christ. All issues are now soled in Him. But you must accept Him and learn how to appropriate that which He has made available for you. That long standing issue comes to an end as you make up your mind and ask for grace to seek Him by His word. He will surely visit you as He did Abraham and Sarah.
Action Plan: Get down to the word today and get books by anointed men on topics that addresses the issue of concern and spend time till you get your answer.
