Bible Reading: Exodus 1-3; Matthew 15:21-39
“I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.” Psalms 3:4 (KJV)
Do you know that God cares about all His creations? He cares about the trees, the seas, the animals, and the humans in the earth. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:26-27,30 that God feeds the fowls of the air and takes care of the lilies of the field. He Also clothes the grass of the field whose lifespan is very short.
Moreso, Jesus made us know that He takes care of everybody “… For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain in the just and on the unjust” Matthew 5:45 (KJV). However, for His chosen people, God does not just come unto to their aid automatically, He works better with His people when they cry out to Him for help.
A cry is prayer of dependency on God. He has great plans for His people and for heaven to implement this plan we, His chosen people, must cooperate with Him in a desperate cry for help. Only then can help come, not just in setting us free temporarily from the challenge, but the unleashing of heaven’s agenda in your life.
The bible tells us: “and the children of Israel sighed by the reason of the bondage, and they cried , and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage” Exodus 2:23b (KJV). Despite the sufferings God did not attend to them until they cried. And the result? “God remembered the covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob” Exodus 2:24 (KJV). David, in today’s memory verse, was anointed King of Israel. He spent the next few years running for his dear life until he cried, and God remembered him.
God has something for all His children but a cry is needed to see it manifest in your life.
Action Plan: Cry out to God today on that issue. Remind Him of His word and the testimonies of those He had done it for and plead your case.
