Bible Reading: Numbers 7-8; Matthew 26:26-50
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” – Psalm 1:3
As children of God, we have supernatural advantage where divine blessings and enablement is concerned. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:8, “The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”
Your hand is unique because it bears your prints. It is your signature; your uniqueness. No two people have the same fingerprints; not even identical twins because your hand represents your unique creative ability and God given skills. When you set out to do anything, regardless of how many people are doing the same thing, there will always be something ‘irreplaceable’ about yours because you are unique. This is why as a child of God you don’t have to worry about many people doing the same thing that you are doing.
It is upon this uniqueness that the Bible says that God will cause the Blessing to rest upon! The blessing of God is the supernatural empowerment of heaven that rests upon people and causes all that they do to prosper, increase, multiply and profit wonderfully. When a person is blessed, it means the person functions with an ability from divine realm – the realm of God. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” God has blessed you with every spiritual blessing because you are a believer in Christ Jesus.
All you have to do is to function from this God ordained realm by being obedient to the leading, instructions, intuitions and premonitions of the Spirit of God and His Word, and whatever you touch will prosper. This is what our text says concerning the blessed person.
In John 2, Jesus was a guest at a wedding in Cana of Galilee and He instructed the people to pour water into the purification containers, draw from it and serve it to the chairperson of the occasion. The jars of purification were containers that were kept at the entrance into a house so that guests could fetch water from them and wash off their dusty feet and hands before entering the house. Just imagine how the containers and the water would look.
In faith, the servants fetched water from these ‘purification’ jars and served it to the ‘noblest’ of men at the occasion and this is what he said, “… And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.” John 2:10. The water transformed into ‘good’ wine. Not even the host knew how it happened. Only the servants knew it was the dirty water in those purification jars that had become the best wine at the wedding. This is what happens whenever we yield to the Spirit of God. When we obey the Spirit of God we operate from the realm of God and whatever we lay our hands upon is supernaturally transformed by the power of the Blessing. Through you, God is transforming life’s today in Jesus’ Name.
Prayer: Father, i receive grace to be sensitive to your leading for Unique blessings
