Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. – John 3:3 (KJV)
There has been quite some advances made in technology and this has enhanced our living standards and also lifespan. Inspite of these advances very few people live beyond 100 years. In fact very few people also pray to live beyond a century. But after death what happens? Where do we go from here?
The bible says in Hebrews 9:27(KJV) ”… And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” The question is judgement of what? Our answer is in Ecclesiastes 12:14 (KJV) “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
All our activities will be brought into judgement but God has also made a way out for us. He says all we need to do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and all our past sins would be forgiven. Thus we would be given a clean slate of operation. We would be like a new born baby that has no past but a lot ahead of him. That is what being born again entails. It means being prepared for heaven. It means being given a new bill of Righteousness. Exchange our sins for the righteousness of Christ. That is why only Jesus can give us this birth. He alone has the key! That is why he says with Authority in John 3:3( KJV).” Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
If you are not born again, you need to surrender to Jesus today so that you can have a clean bill of Righteousness. This surrender is quite simple. You only need to follow the following steps. Accept you are a sinner, ask Lord Jesus to forgive you your sins. Believe that your sins have been forgiven, make a promise that you will forsake those sins and all forms of sin going forward and thereafter, accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you, please forgive me my sins and give me the grace to live above sin as I accept you as my Lord and Saviour.
