“He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him”. – John 6:56 KJV.
Holy Communion as we all know it, is having meal and drink with The Lord Jesus.It involves two elements viz bread and wine. The bread represents the body of Jesus Christ while the wine represents His blood. When we take Holy Communion, we believe we have taken the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ as expected in John 6:56(KJV). “He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him”.
Eating the Holy Communion implies having a covenant with Jesus to obey him always. That’s why John 6:57 says …”so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me”.
Holy Communion comes with its own promises. Firstly, once you obey the condition of living by him, you will have life in you implying that sicknesses and diseases will be far away from you. And where you are already sick, you can claim your healing as stated in 1 Peter 2:24 that by His stripes we were healed.
Secondly, having life in you also means you will be strengthened and everything in you that had weakened will be restored.
It also means you will receive grace and forgiveness from the Almighty.
Receiving eternal life implies having victory over all contending situations in your life.
In John 6:35 KJV. ..And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
So Holy Communion fills every hunger and every thirst for things of the Holy Spirit as you can get revelations of things you want God to give you.
Jesus has the power on earth and in heaven because it is by him was everything created ( Col 1:16 ), So he can give you whatever you need to quench physical hunger and thirst such as food or ideas that will bring sustainable source of income.
Prayer: Every time I take Holy Communion, please give me victory over sicknesses, sorrow and lack in Jesus name.
