Memory verse: “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; but the honour of kings is it to search out a matter” Proverbs 25:2 (KJV)
The bible in Romans 11:33 (KJV) says, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgements, and his ways past finding out!“ God’s ways are different from ours as confirmed in Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV), “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” He desires that all come to the knowledge of His ways and will. One way of helping us search Him out is His word, the bible.
The bible is a tool for meditation. It opens the door to God. it is not entirely a complete information about God but a door handle to God. He commanded Joshua to meditate on the word day and night if he is to be successful life. That means to search out any matter in life we need the mind of God. Connecting to the mind of God amongst other things requires we meditate on His word and follow the leading of Hid Spirit.
God created each and every man with a purpose but only a few end up fulfilling their purpose here on earth. To fulfil your purpose, you must first know your purpose. To know this you must find it out from God Himself. Only by meditating on His word can you get to know about Him. The more you know about Him the more you get to know yourself and your purpose here on earth.
Only kings end up finding out the mind of God by searching out any matter of concern. God wants you to come to Him on that issue. As you meditate on His word, He shares His thoughts with you on the issue.
Action Point: Make meditation of the word a daily habit.
