Confidence in the promise of God and patience in the materialization of that promise are the major components of faith. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest…………….shall not cease. Genesis 8:22. There must always be a time-period between sowing and harvesting. That period between your investment and yield is PATIENCE. Many had presented their request to God but at the point of God releasing their request they turned back because of lack of patience. Patience itself is a demonstration of confidence and trust. Most times those things we asked for that did not come on time was delayed because God is taking time to give us the best of our desires, but due to impatience and lack of faith we chicken out at the last moment of our waiting. Great destinies came out of the womb hitherto referred to as barren e.g. John came out of Elizabeth’s womb; Samuel came out of Hannah’s womb, etc. God is not moved by our cry but by our confidence in Him and our persistency in demand. It is our faith in His ability that has great reward. We need patience after we have done God’s will to receive His promise. God’s word will not fail it must surely come to pass. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries wait for it; because it will surely come, it not tarry will. ………………………………; but the just shall live by faith” –Habakkuk 2:3,4b. Be absolute in your trust and confidence in God’s ability to bring to pass all His promises to you. Remain blessed.
