CONTENDING WITH UNSEEN FORCES: DELIVERANCE GUARANTEED BY THE BLOOD
Main Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 10:4 :- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds”.
Following from our discuss of last week we clearly understand that the Blood of Jesus Christ is the authority that guarantees our release from every form of satanic bondage. The Blood of Jesus Christ is the mystery weapon that incapacitates the devil and reduces him to nothingness. The effect of the Blood is fatal in the camp of Satan and his cohorts.
WHAT IS IN THE BLOOD?
The whole of God Almighty is in the Blood. Every time you say the “Blood of Jesus” you are bringing God’s very life on the scene. It is the very life of God in the Blood that makes it produce results. Leviticus 17:11 says ” For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” In essence it means that when you say “the blood of Jesus” God’s life answers. Anytime you invoke the blood of Jesus by faith, you are bringing God on the scene, and He has never been known to fail. God takes over the battle whenever you plead the blood of Jesus. When God appears in a battle who can stand?. If all things are possible unto God, then all things are possible unto the blood too. Satan is not omnipresent but he has distributed himself into all his demons by placing his name on them. This enables him to curse havoc in many places at the same time. However if the mere blood of lambs could keep off the angel of death from the house of God’s people in Egypt, how much more then will the blood of Jesus keep Satan out of your territory. So pleading the blood of Jesus by faith contains the devil. The release of the blood is our sure escape route from all forms of satanic wickedness.
The blood of Jesus Christ is our most potent weapon for spiritual warfare. It is our stronghold and a coverage against every satanic attack. When we plead the blood every attack sent towards our direction is directed to pass over because Jesus is our pass over lamb – “………………For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us. – 1 Corinthians 5:7b. Consider the magnitude of the power released to set the children of Israel free from 430 years of captivity in Egypt through the instrumentality of the blood of a mere animal and then begin to imagine what the blood of Jesus Christ who offered himself without spot through the eternal Spirit can perform in your life. It has the power to liberate you from every form of slavery and bondage irrespective of the covenant involved. When we are saved we entered into the blood covenant – it is our stronghold. It is the passover blood that says “pass over” to every evil. You will never get out of your Egypt without the application of the covenant blood of Christ. Our covenant with God which is sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ is the strongest and most potent covenant in heaven, on earth and beneath the earth. It has superiority over any other covenant and has the power to disannul any other covenant. It breaks and puts asunder any other covenant even the covenants sealed with human blood. It is no wonder then that Zechariah 9:11-12,14a,15b says ” As for thee also by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. Turn to your stronghold, ye prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee;…………And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning…… The LORD shall defend them. Because of the blood of the covenant the Almighty God has vowed to bring you forth out of the pit wherein is no water. This connotes a very terrible state of being. It creates a mental image of someone in an unending circle of failure, someone suffering from economic deprivation, someone suffering from abject poverty and very famished. Most people have gone into or been in this state due to the satanic work of wickedness. Some got themselves into it by knowingly covenanting themselves to the devil. Whatever the situation is the word of God says that God will honour His covenant terms because of the blood of Christ. Your stronghold of escape is the blood. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour you automatically become a partaker of this covenant and God is under divine obligation to defend you.
The blood of Jesus cleanses you from all leprous issues in your life. Leprosy represents any curse or a “but” in your life. It is a visible reproach that ostracises an individual. Whatever makes you a byword and laughing stock among men can be considered leprous. Whatever puts a question mark on your Christianity is a form of leprosy. Whatever makes you a misfit in the company of men are all forms of leprosy. Thank God that every form of leprosy is cleansable and every shame can be removed. The atoning, cleansing blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse you. In Leviticus 14:1-7 the LORD specified the process of cleansing for a person healed of leprosy. If the blood purge man’s general leprosy, which banished him from God’s presence, then the blood can also cleanse every form of leprosy on earth today. From the scriptures we found that Jesus shed His blood seven times agreeing with the number of times the blood of the killed bird is to be sprinkled upon the person to be cleansed from leprosy. See scriptural references of Christ shedding His blood:- Isaiah 50.6 -they plucked His beard, Luke 22:44 – He sweated blood, Matt. 27:29- they put a crown of thorns upon His head, Matt. 27:26 They scourge Him, Psalm 22:16 – they pierced His hand, Psalm 22:16 – they pierced His feet and in John19:34 – they pierced His side. Jesus shed His blood seven times, so you can be free from all forms of leprosy!
In Luke 17:12-15 the story was told of ten lepers that were healed by Christ and instructed to go show themselves to the priest. They were societal rejects and misfit but Christ healed them of leprosy and removed shame from them. but the one that return to give Him thanks was made every bit whole. The atoning blood of Christ has all it takes to make you whole.

I renounce and nullify every covenant I entered into knowingly or unknowingly by the Blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen
Every covenant I was initiated into by birth and through ancestral lineage I command it to be disannulled by the Blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen
Let the blood of Jesus Christ go into my family root and discharge me of any family covenant obligation. In Jesus name. Amen
I wipe out of my life and body any covenant mark by the Blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name Amen.
I invoke the covenant I have with God by the blood of Jesus to nullify every other covenant in my life. In Jesus Name. Amen
I plead the Blood of Jesus to cleanse me from any leprous issues (name them) in my life. In Jesus. Amen
I raise the banner of the Blood of Christ against any power resisting my destiny. In Jesus Name. Amen
Let the power of the blood of Christ speak for me. In Jesus Name. Amen
I release the blood of Jesus in all my endeavours today. In Jesus Name.
