Bible Reading: Psalm 68-69; Romans 3.
Memory Verse: “He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.” Psalm 68:20 (KJV)
Death is eternal damnation. It is transition to place of torment, trouble, pain, sorrow and everlasting pain. It is the reward for a sinful life. This is why the Bible says in Romans 6:23 (KJV), “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The way you live your life will determine whether you will die or rescued from death. Sadly, every human being born is meant to die but those who are wise and make the right choice escape from such death as they approach the only true Rescuer, the Lord Jesus Christ to deliver them. The Bible says in Psalm 68:20 (KJV), “He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.”
Only God of salvation who understands death and issues surrounding it can rescue from death. And He has offered you the way of escape which is to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour and begin a journey to eternal life. It’s important to note that several people deceive themselves that they are on that journey when in fact they are on the express lane to death!
The password to eternal life is not church title such as Pastor, Apostle, General Overseer etc but a relationship with Christ. Jesus Christ himself said in Matthew 15:8 (KJV), “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” He further gave the pointer to the destination of such people when he said in Matthew 25:41-46; that such people would go into everlasting punishment because they did not feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless or visited the prisoner.
Are you ready to be rescued? Please call on Jesus Christ this day repenting of your sins, asking for forgiveness and making a commitment to show love to humanity around you. Time is running out!
