Bible Reading: Job 30-31; Acts 13:27-52
“And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed” – Acts 13:48 (KJV).
Many people in the world today are a preaching of the word away from eternal life. The good news must be preached in all the world so as to save souls. God made man to bring Him glory. Man was corrupted by the devil, but reinstated by God through His son, Jesus. However many are not aware of the finished work of Jesus in their lives.
The good news is all about what God has done for us through Jesus and only those who believed will be saved, for no man can come to God except through Jesus (John 14:6). God wants all men saved (2 Peter 3:9), but it is not automatic. There is work to do. Preaching the good news is a must to see people saved. The Ethiopian Eunoch was ordained to be saved but needed Philip to come through (Acts 8:27-39). Even the Gentiles in today’s bible verse needed Paul’s words from God to come to Jesus.
Let us make it our lifestyle to share the word daily with at least a soul for by so doing we may end up getting them saved.
Prayer: Father, endue me with the zeal to go out for the lost like your Son, Jesus and His disciples did.
