…Spreading the gospel of Christ

“My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.” -Job 23:11 KJV

Job went through very traumatic experiences losing his properties, his children and then his health. In all these, he remained steadfast in his service of the Almighty God.

He said in Job 23:11 (KJV), “My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. This showed that he continued to follow the steps of God Almighty inspite of all he had been going through. That is a mark of a true Christian. It does not matter how challenging the situation you are going through, you need to recognize that it does not change God or who he is. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

God wants us to show that we have faith in him even when we are going through difficult situation like Job. Keeping God’s ways should be both in good and difficult times.

In Job 1:1;5, the bible says Job, who was a rich man, rose up early every morning to sanctify his children in case they had sinned. He was not only concerned about his holiness but also about the
Righteousness of his children.

So as children of God, we should be consistent in keeping God’s way wherever we find ourselves, in our households, our place of work, in the church of God, in our social environment. This consistency will show our faith in God Almighty and as we do so God Himself will respond to our needs.

God turned around the situation of Job because of his consistency and integrity. In Job 42:12, the bible says God blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.

God Almighty will bless your ending better than your beginning and all your challenges shall receive the touch of God in Jesus name.

Prayer: Father, help me and my household to follow your steps in every area of our lives in Jesus name.
