One thing most people have failed to learn is to say no to people and things that will hurt their destiny. In a bid to please others, most people end up harming their lives. We want to be in the good book of everyone. People get yoked to cultism and ungodly influences because they have not learnt to say know. We must come to a point where we understand that we cannot please everybody all the time. The only person we must not say no to is God. This is because his thoughts and all his demands are for our good.
When we are tempted to do anything that is not right,we must be wise and firm enough not to consent to it. We must learn to say no to ungodly advances, ungodly relationships and ungodly demands without feeling bad for our stand. Satan and his agents will entice us to do the wrong things, to make the wrong choices or to take wrong decisions, but as children of God, we must shun evil and choose good.
Say no to sin. Say no to malice, say no to ungodly relationships, say no to corruption, fraud and crime but yes to God and his will for your life. Say yes to the gospel and experience new life in Christ.
Prayer: Lord, I receive the grace to say no to sin and Satan and eternal yes to you in Jesus name.
