Bible Reading: Isaiah 22:1-25
“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” – Psalm 30:5(KJV).
From time to time, we find ourselves in pretty tough situations, especially when it seems that the oppressor is having a field day. No reprieve. God seems far away. It appears our prayers are of no effect. Every night seems just too long.
Be assured, however, that no matter how long the night may seem, the day will surely break and bring joy (Psalm 30:5). Wait patiently on God, for He will show up (Psalm 37:7). You can be assured that He will not stop to move things around until what is meant for you reaches your hand. (Ezekiel 21:27).
Prayer: Dear Lord, I will wait upon you until my change comes. I praise you for my restoration. Amen.
