Bible Reading: Numbers 1-2; Matthew 25:1-23
“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:” – 1 Peter 3:10.
The the secret to enjoying everyday good life is in speaking God’s Word. The words of our mouth are very powerful! Our mouth is a very powerful tool in releasing faith. “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; WE ALSO BELIEVE, AND THEREFORE SPEAK”-2 Corinthians 4:13. Our words become powerful with the same ability as God when we believe Him and speak. Nothing becomes impossible to us because those words have the same effect in our mouths as they would have in God’s.
Mark 11:23 says, “… That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but SHALL BELIEVE that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Jesus said we should speak to the mountain and that what you say will come to pass!”
So: speak to your body in the Name of Jesus! Speak to your bank accounts in the Name of Jesus! Speak to your businesses in the Name of Jesus! Speak to your children in the Name of Jesus! Whatever stands as a mountain should be spoken to. Use your mouth wisely!
1 Peter 3:10 says whether good is apparent or not you should keep your tongue free from evil and your lips from guile. It doesn’t matter the situation, the secret of enjoying life and seeing good days starts with your tongue.
Evil isn’t just when you use a foul word, rather it is saying anything that is contrary to God’s Word. In Numbers 13:31, God called the report of the 10 negative pessimistic spies evil. “But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature”. He called it an evil report because it was contrary to God’s Word. Refuse to speak evil even in the face of a mountain or challenge.
When you speak, believe in your heart that what you have said will happen because the Father loves you and He is backing your Words.
Your heart must be in agreement with what your mouth has said and you will enjoy life on a daily basis.
Prayer: Thank You Father for the power of Your Words in my mouth.
