…Spreading the gospel of Christ

WORD MEDITATION: 09/01/2021

Bible Reading: Genesis 21,22,23; Matthew 7

“And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken” Genesis 21:1 (KJV)

We serve a God who specializes in doing the impossible. There is nothing too hard for Him to do. He created everything in this world, both living and non-living things. With regards to flesh, He asked the prophet Jeremiah, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV).

We serve a God that cannot lie. “God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (KJV). As long as He has spoken it be sure you will receive an answer for He will do it. However, God has His own time. In His time every thing is beautiful (Ecclesiates 3:11).

Abraham was told by God that he will be a father (Genesis 12:4); moreso, a father of many. When some angels visited him they repeated the message telling him that Sarah shall have a son (Genesis 18:9-15). He was Seventy-five years old when he first heard that message. And it came to pass when he was a hundred years old.

God still visits His people. But we must learn to wait for Him. Lamentations 3:25 (KJV) says, “The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.” The apostle Paul, by revelation from God, revealed how Abraham and his wife patiently waited for the fulfilment of God’s promise (Romans 4:16-22).

He visited the world by sending His Son to save us from our sins. To receive a personal visitation, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, get baptised and renew your mind after His Word so that you can learn how to wait in hope and patience after the order of Abraham for your own visitation.

Action Plan: Write out all the LORD has revealed to you that pertains to your personal life. Begin to wait on Him in prayer, praise and thanksgiving till you see it fulfilled.
