TOPIC: DWELLING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD
Bible Reading: Leviticus 7-9; Matthew 25:31-46
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalms 91:1 (KJV)
To live a life of impact and fulfilment of destiny, we must have encounters in the presence of God. This begins with supernatural empowerment and discovery of God’s plan, purpose and direction for our lives per time. That is, one needs to have a good understanding of every season of his life. This calls for regular fellowship. Stay long enough to hearing from God, not just talking in prayer. Be quiet in the spirit of your mind. Leave the cares of this life behind so that the Father of spirit can minister to your soul, just as John showed us, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.”- Revelation 1:10 (KJV)
Indeed, everyone who really wants to walk with God and make impact must not be a man of the crowd but of His presence. Thank God for modern gadgets, but one must be smart enough not to be enslaved by them. Let nothing take the place of your personal fellowship with God. Strive to separate yourself from distraction and dwell in His presence.
Prayer: Father, as I seperate myself, cause me to hear your voice of leading and direction for the fulfilment of my destiny in Jesus Name!
