BIBLE READING: LEVITICUS 6, 7; MATTHEW 25:1-28
“But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves” Matthew 25:9 (KJV).
God’s plan for us is that of abundance. He wants us to live life to the fullest. Lack and want is not his desire for any of his children. Our lack and want is a result of lack of knowledge of his provision or ignorance of how to access kingdom provisions.
There are three levels people can be classified into:
Level 1: Not Enough – The people at this level continue to struggle to make ends meet. It is a position of lack, struggle and frustration. Such people cannot easily impact others because of their condition.
Level 2: “Just Enough” – people at this level mange to survive. They have just enough to pay their bills and meet their needs. It is different for them to live a life of contribution. They see obvious need all around them but they look helpless. This helplessness denies them opportunities for impact.
Level 3: More than Enough – This is God’s plan for his children. People at this level of abundance have more than enough to meet their needs and they can afford to reach out and empower others.
Prayer: Lord help me to impact my world with God’s blessings in Jesus name.
