Bible Reading: Isaiah 25:1-12
“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” – Isaiah 25:9 KJV
It is time to praise the Lord in a lavish and exuberant manner. He had done wonderful things in times past. It is good to remind ourselves of His awesome deeds — when He provided food unexpectedly when we were hungry, when He commanded someone to bless us with clothes and cover our nakedness, that moment of sickness and weariness that He healed and restored our strength. Praise the Lord!
We will again praise Him for what He will still do. It is like Him to show up when we least expect. There is hope therefore, for us because the breath of life from the Lord will revive us in these trying times. Our God shall come to us with the abundance of his salvation, which entails deliverance, safety, preservation, healing and health. Our heart shall rejoice and be glad because he is mighty to save and deliver us from the hardness of the time.
Our God will show up to heal our land, restore our health, redeem us from destruction, satisfy our mouth with good things and renew our strength like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:3-5). It is only the proud that refuse to acknowledge Him that will lose out.
Prayer: I praise and exalt your holy name, O Lord. I’m grateful for your blessing that is coming to me today. Amen.
