“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”. – John 4:14
Every day we read of murders, rape, robbery, adultery etc. going on around us. This happens every part of the world where we human beings live! These atrocities are perpetrated by human beings like us and usually against other human beings. Why?
The world is governed by Satan because we have given him the free reign. But we have the weapon to wrest the earth from him only if we are willing and ready to pay the price.
All we need to do is to share the good news of Christ with people around us and pray for them to understand the message and accept Christ into their lives. If we all do this, with the help of our father, we can make disciples of all nations as Christ enjoins us in Matthew 28:19 KJV. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Whenever someone is converted to a disciple of Christ, the chance of robbery, murder, adultery is reduced. We all can make our world a better place to live in if we do our duty.
John 5:24 KJV. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
On the other hand, when we live a life of selfishness, we expose ourselves and our generations to dangers. So preaching the gospel is not only for others but also for our own good. However, you cannot give what you don’t have. We all need to search ourselves and ensure we are also true disciples of Christ before making others.
The bible says Jesus is living water and whoever drinks it will never thirst again. John 4:14 KJV. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
An everlasting life is one that has yielded itself to Christ and will not go back again. When such water is poured into another life, it will give a new beginning to such a life.
