Bible Reading: Genesis 27-28, Matthew 9:18-38
“Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:29 (KJV)
For healing to be experienced faith is needed. Faith pleases God. The bible says in Hebrews 11:6 (KJV), “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Do you believe that God is the answer to that issue of concern?
The beautiful thing about faith is that it is of the heart. You can say things with your mouth and in your heart mean something else. That is why a lot of people are struggling today. Their words don’t match with what their thoughts and actions. God gave us an example in Genesis 1, in the story of creation. He looked at the earth’s situation, thought of something finer, spoke it and immediately carried it out by His Spirit. God is so integrated. No wonder the bible says in Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV), “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:” His thoughts, word and actions are all one or integrated.
God sees our hearts and gives us according to how integrated our thoughts, words and actions are towards Him. This was seen in Matthew 9:20 (KJV), “And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:” The secret to the woman’s healing was her faith seen in the integration of her thoughts, word and actions in Matthew 9:21(KJV), “For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” No wonder Jesus told the blind men in our memory verse of today, “… according to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:29 (KJV)
Let your words, thoughts and actions be one. Only those who have worked on this principle can get things from God. It is the devil who says one thing, has another in his heart and then do a completely different one. In this year 2022 mind what you say! Never you say something else while having a completely different thought and eventually acting out another. Follow God totally with your whole person in faith.
