…Spreading the gospel of Christ

Bible reading: Proverbs 17

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeated a matter separateth very friends” -Proverbs 17:9 (KJV)

We have a Good and Just God who is faithful to His Word. What He says He’ll do, He does, Hallelujah !!!. He said in His Word; “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their iniquities will I remember no more” – Hebrews 8:12(KJV).

Our God never brings up our past faults when we ask and receive forgiveness from Him. We are the ones that keep on bringing them up. Like our Father, when we forgive one another of any wrong doing, we should not bring up the matter to the individuals involved. Forgive and Let it go. It could be hard sometimes, but we can do it by the power and the grace of the Holy Spirit. Our text reads, “He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeated a matter separated very Friends”. We could lose God-given relationships, destiny helpers and God-given friendships, even our spouses; if we keep on bring up the past wrongs done to us. Those wrongs are in the past, let them remain there.

Prayer:
Father I thank you for your love, mercy & grace toward me. Lord help me to forgive those who wronged me and also help me to let go of the faults of the past, both theirs and mine in Jesus name. Amen!!!
