“But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.” – Exodus 23:22 KJV
Every good father is ready to support and defend his child to any level particularly if that child is obedient to him. As a father, any child that is faithful to his father would be supported at all times as and when the need arises. The position of the father also gives an indication of the level of influence that he wields. The obedient child of the president of Nigeria, for example will have protection by the security forces of the country and can deal with any adversary because of the position of his father.
If this is true, what then happens to the president of presidents? The Almighty God who creates the heavens and the earth. God almighty says if you obey his voice and do as He speaks, He will be an enemy unto your enemy. Here the Almighty God in Exodus 23:22 KJV says “But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries”.
If God is behind you, what kind of enemy can ever win you? You can be sure no one can? You are certain of victory at all times and the joy of The Lord. That’s why the word of God says in the presence of God, there is fullness of Joy. So all you need to be a constant beneficiary of God’s presence is to be obedient to his word at all times.
Prayer: Father, give me the grace to be obedient to your words at all times in Jesus name.
